Senior Program Director, Moreau Program

Andrew Whittington serves as the Senior Program Director of the Moreau Program. In this role, he helps implement and supervise the program's strategic plan and oversees the operation of the program.

After receiving his bachelor's degree from Notre Dame, Whittington joined the Alliance for Catholic Education Teaching Fellows program and taught third-grade students at Our Lady of Charity School in Chicago, IL. Whittington returned to work at Notre Dame as Associate Program Director for ACE Teaching Fellows in which he helped supervise and shepherd the integration of professional teaching, community building, and spiritual growth with graduate students. His other previous roles at the university include building a volunteer fundraising network within University Relations, directing Welcome Weekend - the University's orientation endeavor for all undergraduate students - and implementing academic engagement and exploration initiatives with the Center for University Advising.

He and his wife met as first-year students at Notre Dame and now have three children.
