Fr. Kevin Grove, C.S.C., is Associate Professor of Theology and a Holy Cross priest. He grew up on a family farm in a small Montana town where he interspersed harvesting, ranching, fishing, and reading. He earned a Master of Divinity degree from Notre Dame before obtaining his doctorate in philosophical theology at the University of Cambridge. He then returned to Notre Dame as a member of the faculty. He writes and teaches about Christology, memory, St. Augustine, and Bl. Basil Moreau. He serves as a priest in Dunne Hall.

Step into the story. Join a guided reflection on the spirituality and mission of the Congregation of Holy Cross made visible by people and places on campus. Holy Cross priests lead walking “tours” of specific campus sites and use these spaces to describe the ways the Holy Cross identity informs Notre Dame’s distinct vision of education. Learn more

Art and Mission w/ Campus Ministry

Sept 7 - 29 (varied)

Learn from the heart of campus. Campus ministers will lead guided tours of the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, using its history, architectural style, and sacred art as a lens through which to understand the spirituality of the Congregation of Holy Cross and Notre Dame’s vision of education.

Venture to the top floor or Hesburgh Library. Join in a tour and discussion about the Word of Life mural (also known as "Touchdown Jesus") and aspects of the historic Fr. Ted’s Office to the role of “encounter” in the Catholic university.Learn more

What made a Catholic priest the "most dangerous man in America? Hesburgh (2019) chronicles the life of Father Theodore Hesburgh, C.S.C., who served as the 15th president of the University of Notre Dame. Go behind the scenes of the Nixon era to see how Fr. Ted used his platform to challenge the White House and fight for the soul of the country and how his life might inspire us to participate in Notre Dame's vision of education.
